Sunnu Caterers

Sunnu Caterers is based at Shrikunj, which is No.17/1735 on the 4th Main in Rammohanpuram. We are very close to Devaiah Park in the Okalipuram area. It’s a good location because the park makes it easy for people to find us when they are coming for the first time. We’ve been at this address for several years now. The workspace is where we spend the bulk of our time, prepping food for various local functions. It’s a lot of manual labor. We chop everything by hand and use big traditional stoves. Okalipuram is a very busy and crowded part of the city. Sometimes the noise from the street is a bit much, but you get used to it. We don't have a big fancy office or any corporate structure. It’s just a small group of us working together. Sometimes we have disagreements about how much salt to add or which route the delivery driver should take. That’s just how it is when you work closely like this. We aren't trying to be some high-end luxury service. We just provide food for the community. The kitchen is always busy and there’s usually a pile of dishes waiting to be washed. We try to keep things organized, but during the wedding season, it gets a little crazy around here. We just take it one day at a time and keep the business running. It’s honest work and we like being in Rammohanpuram.
