Sunday Science At Cool Kids School

Sunday Science is held on the first floor of building 100/1A on Nagappa Street in Malleswaram. It’s right on the A Cross, near the Sheshadripuram Main Road, so it's a pretty central part of Bangalore. You’ll find us near the Total Auto Gas Pump, which is the easiest way to give directions. As the name says, we focus on science stuff on Sundays. The school where we host this is called Cool Kids School, and it’s a regular building that we use when the main school week is over. The rooms are filled with bits and pieces of science projects, some half-finished and some that actually work. It’s not a polished laboratory or anything like that. It’s more like a workshop where things can get a little messy with experiments and builds. We don't have a big corporate backing; it's just a group of us who like science and wanted a place for kids to do hands-on things. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow, so it can be a squeeze when parents are dropping off their kids. We keep it very informal, and the kids usually call us by our names. There’s no strict uniform or anything, just kids showing up to see how things work. Sometimes an experiment doesn't go right, but that's just part of the day. We just clean up and try the next thing. It’s a very practical, relaxed environment for learning and trying things out together.
