Sunco Concrete Blocks

Our place is at number 320 on Magadi Road. We’re right there in Sunkada Katte, near the Bank Road intersection. It’s a busy spot with lots of traffic going past all day long. We make concrete blocks right here on the site. If you walk by, you’ll probably hear the machines humming or see the guys stacking blocks up to dry. It’s a noisy and messy business, but we don’t mind it much. The yard is usually crowded with rows of blocks. We started out small several years ago and just kept adding a bit more here and there as we could afford it. It’s not a polished corporate office. We have a small space where we keep the books and take orders, but most of the action is outside. On hot days, the work is really draining, but the concrete sets faster, so there's always a trade-off. People often stop by just because they saw our sign while stuck in traffic. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements. We just rely on the fact that we're here and we make a decent block. Sometimes the cement deliveries are late and it throws our whole schedule off, which is frustrating, but we deal with it. We know most of the local builders who come in regularly. It’s just a regular local business trying to keep up with the demand in this part of town, without making things too complicated for anyone.
