It’s a relatively quiet part of the neighborhood compared to the main shopping streets. At Sukruti Credit & Risk Managers, we deal with a lot of numbers and files every single day. The building isn't very new, but it stays cool enough. We spend most of our time sitting at our desks looking at spreadsheets or talking to people about their financial situations. It’s not the kind of work that makes for exciting stories, but it’s important to the people we help. Sometimes we see the ambulances going to the nursing home, which is a reminder of how busy the world is outside our quiet block. We have a small pantry where we make coffee, and that’s usually where we end up talking about things that aren’t work-related. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed. We don't wear suits unless we absolutely have to. Most of the time it’s just casual shirts and people trying to get through their to-do lists. Jayanagar is a nice place to work because of all the trees, even if parking is a nightmare. People often get lost trying to find us since the numbers can be confusing, but the nursing home is a good landmark. We’ve grown fond of this little spot over the years. We just keep our heads down and handle the work as it comes in.
