Sugandhi

We've been here at number 85 on Haines Road for a long while now. Most people who live around here know us from the Kathriguppa Main Road area. It’s just how things are run here at Sugandhi. We show up every morning, open the shutters, and get the daily work done. The shop isn't anything fancy to look at from the sidewalk, but we keep things moving along inside. Sometimes the traffic on the main road gets a bit loud and messy, but we are pretty used to that by now. People stop by when they need something specific, and we try to help out as much as we can without making a big deal of it. It’s a busy spot in a busy part of town. We aren't trying to do anything too big or complicated here. Just a small operation that keeps us busy from dawn to dusk. My family lives just a few blocks away, so coming into work is easy enough for me most days. We see a lot of the same faces every single week, which is nice. That’s probably the nice part about being on Kathriguppa Main Road. You get to know the neighbors and the people who walk their dogs past the door. If you’re passing by Haines Road, you’ll likely see our old sign hanging up. It's been there since the day we first started. There isn't a whole lot more to say about us really. We just do what we do. Sugandhi is just a part of the daily routine for us.
