Sudarshan

Our place, Sudarshan, is located at 1164 near the Bts Bus Depot. We are tucked away in Garden Lane, which is part of Gavdevi in the Sanghani Estate area off LBS Marg in Jayanagar. It’s a bit of a mouthful to say the address, but once you are here, it feels like a very specific part of the community. Being near the bus depot means there is always a rhythmic sound of engines and people rushing to catch their ride. Our shop is on a smaller lane, so it is a little bit quieter than the main road, but not by much. We spend our time managing the stock and keeping the place tidy. It is a practical space, mostly filled with boxes and the smell of the nearby street food stalls. We don’t have a corporate office or a big board of directors. It is just a few of us here making sure the orders are right and the bills are paid. The furniture is mostly second-hand and the floor is a bit uneven, but it works for what we need. We’ve seen the area grow and change over the years, with new buildings going up and old ones coming down. We just stay in our corner and do the work that needs doing. There isn’t anything flashy about how we operate; we just show up every day and do our best to keep things moving along. Even when it is raining hard, we stay busy.
