Stella Catering

Our place, Stella Catering, is tucked away in Mallappa Reddy Layout, specifically at No.422/1 in the 8th Block. The address is a bit repetitive if you look at the records, but it’s just one spot where we do all our cooking. It’s a residential-feeling area, so it’s relatively quiet compared to the main roads. We have a small team here. Most of our day is spent over large pots of water and piles of vegetables. We don't have a big corporate structure. It’s just me and a few helpers making sure things get done. We use a lot of fresh ingredients that we get from the local market every morning. The layout has some narrow turns, so driving the food van out can be a bit tricky if someone has parked their car on the street. We’ve had to learn how to navigate that. Inside, the kitchen is functional. We have shelves for all our spices and a separate area for packing the meals into silver foil or plastic containers. It gets quite busy around noon when we are finishing up the lunch batches. We don't have a website or anything like that, we just work from here at No.422/1. It's a straightforward business. We wake up, we cook, we clean, and then we do it all over again the next day. It’s a lot of physical labor but we are used to it.
