Starline Packers & Movers

Starline Packers & Movers operates out of 20 Jalahalli Malwadi Road. Moving people's houses and stuff is a pretty straightforward job but it involves a lot of heavy lifting and some long days on the road. We spend most of our time surrounded by rolls of bubble wrap, brown tape, and stacks of corrugated boxes. The office here is mainly where we keep the supplies and park the trucks when they aren't out on a job. Jalahalli is a busy area, so getting the big vehicles in and out through the traffic takes some patience and a bit of skill. We aren't a corporate giant, just a team that knows how to pack a kitchen or move a heavy wardrobe without scratching the floor. It is a messy business sometimes with all the paper scraps and empty boxes lying around after a big move. We have seen all sorts of things, from people moving just a few streets away to families going across the city. Every day is different because you never know what kind of stairs or narrow hallways you are going to deal with next. We just show up, do the lifting, and try to make sure everything gets where it needs to go. It is physical work and we are usually pretty tired by the end of the shift, but that is just how the moving business goes. We keep it simple and just focus on the task at hand.
