Our office is located at 3 Sampangiram Nagar, over in Sector 48. It’s a fairly easy place to find once you get into the right part of the neighborhood. We spend our days dealing with health insurance, which mostly involves a lot of forms and checking over people’s details. The office has that specific smell of old paper and printer ink. We’ve got stacks of files on the shelves that seem to grow every week. It’s not a glamorous place; the carpet is a bit worn in the high-traffic areas and the chairs don’t all match. People come in looking for help with their claims, often feeling a bit stressed out, so we just try to talk to them like normal people and get the paperwork moving. We don't use a lot of fancy insurance talk if we can avoid it because it just confuses everyone. There’s a small window that looks out onto the street, but there isn’t much of a view. We take turns making tea in the little back room. It’s a steady kind of job where you know what to expect when you walk in every morning. We stay until the last person is helped and the computers are shut down for the night. Being in Sector 48 is convenient for most of us, and we’ve gotten to know the other people working in the nearby buildings. It’s just a regular office doing regular work, making sure the claims are processed as they come in through the mail.
