Star Gift Centre

Star Gift Centre is over at 34/1 Dharamaraja Koil Street in Shivaji Nagar. This area is always full of life and very crowded, especially on weekends and during festivals. Our shop is quite small, but we’ve managed to fit a lot of gift items inside. We have things like mugs, photo frames, stuffed toys, and clocks. The street outside is narrow and there are always people walking past, so it gets quite loud. I usually have some music playing softly in the shop to balance out the noise from the street. The shelves are made of wood and go all the way up to the ceiling, so I have to use a small ladder sometimes to reach the things at the top. I try to wrap things nicely if someone asks, but I’m not always the neatest at it. The tape dispenser is always going missing under a pile of wrapping paper. We don’t have any corporate branding or fancy logos. It’s just a local shop where people come to find a quick present for a friend or a family member. I know many of the other shopkeepers on Dharamaraja Koil Street, and we often chat during the quiet hours in the afternoon. It’s a humble place, and we’ve been here serving the local community for a long time. There’s nothing fancy about it, just a lot of heart and a lot of small gifts. I think I will be here for many more years just watching the world go by from my door.
