St Marys Public School Queens Road

You'll find us at No.13, right near the Cantonment Railway Station. If you know Queens Road Cross, you probably know where we are. It’s a busy spot with people always coming and going from the trains. St Marys Public School has been around this part of town for quite some time now. The building is older but it holds a lot of memories for the families who live nearby. Every morning, the street gets crowded with students and parents. We don’t have a massive campus with a big park, but we make use of every corner we have. The classrooms have tall windows that let in the light, even if the city noise comes in with it. The teachers here are mostly locals who have been with us for years. They know the names of almost every kid in the halls. It is a bit loud sometimes because of the railway station nearby, but we just get on with the lessons. We don't bother much with fancy decorations or big signs. Most people find us because they live just a few streets away or their parents went here back in the day. It’s a practical place for learning. We keep the schedule simple and try to make sure every student gets what they need. Just a small team making sure the doors open on time and the books are ready. We don't have a big cafeteria, so most kids bring their own tiffins. It's a humble place, but it's been a big part of Queens Road for a long time.
