Srushti Landscape Studio

Srushti Landscape Studio is based in Nagarbhavi, specifically in the 11th Block on 2nd H Main Road. Our address is 136, and it’s easy to spot because we usually have some greenery near the entrance. Working in landscaping means we spend a lot of time thinking about dirt, rocks, and plants. Our office often has a bit of mud on the floor from someone coming back from a site visit. It’s not a polished environment, but it’s practical. We spend our mornings planning out where things should go and our afternoons making sure the plants are doing okay. Nagarbhavi is a bit of a trek for some, but we’ve been here long enough that it feels like home. The 11th Block is relatively quiet compared to the main roads, which we appreciate. We have a few drafting tables and a lot of binders full of different species of trees and shrubs. It’s a small operation, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, from answering the phone to hauling bags of compost. We don't use a lot of big words or complicated theories; we just look at a piece of land and try to figure out what fits. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy through the seasons. Sometimes the rain messes up our schedule, but that’s just part of the job.
