Our office is called "Smile," and it is located at number 39 on the 34th Main in the Bhavani Housing Society. We are in the 7th Block of Banagiri Nagar, which is part of Banashankari Stage 3 in Bangalore. It is a nice residential area, so it doesn't feel like those sterile office districts you see elsewhere. We have been here for some time now, and the neighbors are used to seeing us coming and going. The work we do involves a lot of consulting and planning, which keeps us pretty occupied throughout the week. Our space is comfortable but definitely looks like a place where people work hard. There are always piles of papers and half-empty coffee mugs around. We don't have a front desk person with a scripted greeting. If you walk in, you’ll likely just see one of us working and we’ll say hello. We like the vibe of being in a housing society because it feels more grounded. The commute can be a bit of a nightmare depending on the time of day, but that’s just Bangalore for you. We focus on our projects and try to keep things moving. We aren't big on meetings that could have been emails. We just want to do our jobs well and enjoy our time in this part of the city. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place to spend the workday.
