Gkk Town Planners & Architects

Gkk Town Planners & Architects is located in Ulsoor 11. It’s an old part of the city, and our office feels like it belongs here. We have these massive maps of the town pinned to the walls, some of them so old the paper is turning yellow at the edges. Being town planners means we look at the bigger picture, but we also do regular architectural work for individual buildings. The office stays pretty quiet most mornings until the phones start ringing. There’s usually a stack of government forms on my desk that I’m trying to ignore. We have a few drafting tables that take up most of the room, so you have to squeeze past them to get to the back. Ulsoor has a certain charm, and we’ve seen it change so much over the decades. Sometimes it feels like we’re just trying to keep up with how fast everything is growing. We don't have a slick website or anything like that. Most people hear about us from someone else in the neighborhood. We spend a lot of time talking to local authorities and trying to make sense of the zoning rules. It’s frustrating work at times, but it’s what we know. When we aren't doing that, we’re drawing up plans for houses or small shops. It’s a steady rhythm of work that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday without much fuss. We usually close early on Saturdays though, just to get some rest from the paperwork.
