Srinidhi Food

Srinidhi Food is located over in Bommanahalli, specifically at No.80/2 on the 1st Cross in Muneshwara Block. If you know where Lightex Engineering is, we are right near there. It’s an interesting spot because there are shops and small factories all around us. We have been here for a bit, working out of this ground floor space. The kitchen is where everything happens. We start our day by checking the stock of grains and spices. Sometimes the delivery trucks for the engineering place next door block the road, so we have to wait to move our stuff out. It’s just part of being in this neighborhood. We have a few big stoves and plenty of containers stacked up against the walls. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because nobody really comes inside except the workers and the delivery guys. It’s a practical space. We do a lot of the chopping on the floor on clean mats because it’s easier than using the small tables. Our aprons are usually stained by the end of the shift, which shows how much work we put in. Bommanahalli can get quite dusty, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the surfaces before we even start cooking. We just keep our heads down and get the orders ready. It's a humble way to earn a living but it keeps us busy.
