Sridevi Karanaths Parlour

Sridevi Karanaths Parlour is located at No.63 in Adugodi. It’s a small, local shop where we take care of people's hair and beauty needs. We’ve been part of the Adugodi community for quite some time. The parlour isn’t huge or filled with expensive gadgets. We have the basic chairs, mirrors, and tools that we’ve used for years. It’s a place where people feel comfortable coming in for a quick trim or a longer session. We don’t have a fancy booking system; people usually just call or walk in. Sometimes there’s a bit of a wait, so we have some old magazines and a bench for people to sit on. The atmosphere is very casual. We talk about the neighborhood and whatever else is going on in town while we work. Sridevi is usually there herself, making sure everything is running okay. We keep the place clean, but it feels lived-in and friendly. The street outside can get a little dusty, so we are often wiping down the windows. It’s a simple business. We don't use any complicated language to describe what we do. We just want people to walk out looking a bit better than when they walked in. It’s a nice way to spend the day, meeting different people and helping them out with their grooming. Sometimes the power goes out for a few minutes, so we just light some candles and keep going until the lights come back on.
