Sri Yallamma Devi Packers & Movers is based at 344 Venkateshpura, right on Bibvewadi Road. Our life is basically boxes, tape, and trucks. Most days we are out at someone's house or office, packing up their stuff and trying to fit it into the back of a van. The office on Bibvewadi Road is where we keep the supplies and park the vehicles when they aren't being used. It’s a busy road, so getting the trucks in and out of the space at number 344 can be a bit of a challenge sometimes, especially when traffic is heavy. We have a lot of bubble wrap and cardboard moving through here every week. It’s a physical job, and we all have the sore backs to prove it. We don't use any fancy systems, just a lot of manual labor and making sure things are wrapped up tight so they don't break. Venkateshpura is a good central spot for us to reach different parts of the city. People usually call us up or stop by the office to ask for a price on moving their furniture. We try to be clear about what we can do and when we can do it. There isn't any corporate talk here. It’s just a bunch of guys who know how to move heavy things without making a mess of it. We keep our gear in the back and get ready for the next move. It gets pretty hectic during the weekends for us.
