Sri Vishranthi Bhavan

Our place is located over in Yeshwantpur, right on 3rd Cross at 51/A L G Street. It’s a busy little corner of the neighborhood, and we’ve been part of it for some time. We open early because that’s when people are heading out to work and need something to eat. The kitchen is usually humming with noise by six in the morning. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us making sure everything is ready. The tables are basic and we don't spend money on fancy signs or ads. Most people find us because they live nearby or work in the shops on this street. It gets a bit crowded during breakfast and lunch, so you might have to share a table if it’s a full house. That's just how it goes here. We try to keep the floors swept and the water jugs filled. Nothing fancy. Just Sri Vishranthi Bhavan. Some days are more hectic than others, especially when there’s a lot of traffic on L G Street. We just keep cooking and serving until the day is done. It’s a lot of standing on your feet, but we’re used to it by now. The neighborhood has changed a bit over the years, but we’re still here at the same spot. We just focus on the food and making sure nobody leaves hungry. We don't bother with anything else besides the daily work.
