Sri Varalakshmi Concrete Blocks

Our yard is located on Magadi Main Road in the Bangalore North district. It’s a busy stretch of road, and we are right in the middle of all the construction activity happening in this part of the city. Sri Varalakshmi Concrete Blocks is really just a bunch of us making blocks for the local builders and home owners. We started this because we saw so much building going on and figured we could supply the basic materials people were looking for. The process is pretty repetitive—mixing the concrete, filling the molds, letting them set, and then stacking them up. You’ll see rows and rows of blocks drying out if you stop by. It’s heavy work, and our hands are always rough from the cement, but it’s an honest way to make a living. We don't have a big marketing team or a shiny website. Most of the people who buy from us just pull their trucks up to the yard and we load them up. Sometimes the traffic on Magadi Road makes things difficult for deliveries, but we manage somehow. We’ve lived in Bangalore North for a long time, so we know the shortcuts and the suppliers around here. It’s a local operation through and through. We just try to make blocks that won't crumble and keep our prices where people can afford them without a lot of haggling. There is always a lot of dust and noise, but we are used to it by now.
