Sri Shakthi Engineering

We are Sri Shakthi Engineering, located at number 86 in Peenya. If you know this area, you know it’s full of factories and workshops. We fit right in. Our shop is a bit noisy because of the machines running all day long. We do metal work and small parts for other businesses around here. It’s greasy and loud, but we like it. I started this place with a couple of friends. We’ve got some old lathes and a few newer machines too. The floor is always a bit oily no matter how much we sweep it. That’s just the nature of engineering. We don't have a front office or a receptionist. If you come by, you just walk into the main bay and shout for one of us over the noise of the hammers. We usually have tea together in the mid-morning. It’s a tight-knit group here. We’ve seen many shops in Peenya open and close, but we’ve managed to stay busy. We don’t make anything fancy, just solid parts that people need. Our customers are mostly other local businesses who know they can drop off a drawing and we’ll get it done. It’s honest work. The building itself is just a big shed with a high ceiling. It gets cold in the mornings but once the machines start, it warms up. We’re just a group of guys who like working with our hands.
