Assistant Engineer

I’m based out of Guruvareddy Layout in Bangalore, specifically at 194, 1st Main. It’s a quiet spot in A. Narayanapura, near Doorvani Nagar. Being an assistant engineer in a city like this means you’re always dealing with growth and new buildings popping up everywhere. My workplace is just a simple setup on the first cross. It’s a bit away from the main tech hubs, which I actually prefer because it's easier to focus. I spend my days checking on local construction work and making sure the layouts are followed. There is a lot of walking involved and talking to the laborers. The office itself is just a room with a large table for maps and a couple of computers that have seen better days. I’ve lived in Bangalore for a long time, so I’ve seen how much this area has changed. It used to be much quieter. Now, there are more houses and shops, but our layout still feels like home. I don't have a big team or a fancy title. I just do the engineering work that needs doing. People in the neighborhood know where I am if they have questions about their plots or the drainage stuff. It’s just me doing my bit. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. It's not a high-pressure corporate job, just steady work that keeps me busy from morning till evening.
