Sri Sai Gents Parlour

Our little place, Sri Sai Gents Parlour, is located on New Pension Lane in Jagjeevanram Nagar. It is very close to the Sri Shakthi Maramma Temple, so you can usually hear the bells ringing or the sounds from the temple throughout the day. We have been working out of this spot at No 23/30 for some time now. It is a basic gents parlour, nothing like the big malls you see in the city center. We have the usual chairs and the spray bottles for water. The walls are painted a simple color and we have a few posters of different hairstyles, though most guys just ask for the same cut every time. Being in JJ Nagar, we get a lot of locals who live just a few streets away. They come in after work or on their day off. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that is just how it is in this part of Bangalore 560018. We keep the scissors sharp and the combs clean. It gets pretty warm in the afternoons so the ceiling fan is always running at full speed. We don't have a lot of staff, just a couple of us who know the trade well. If you are looking for a fancy place with tea and coffee, this isn't it. We just provide a place for a decent haircut and a shave for the neighborhood men. It is a simple shop for regular people who just need to get their hair sorted out.
