Sri Provision Stores

Sri Provision Stores is located at 86/3 in Vijaya Nagar. It’s a pretty standard neighborhood shop. We have shelves lined with all kinds of things people need for their kitchens. It gets really crowded in the evenings when everyone is coming home from work and realizes they forgot to buy something for dinner. The space is a bit tight, especially when we have new crates of goods sitting in the middle of the floor waiting to be unpacked. We know most of the people who walk through the door. They don't even have to say much, we just know what they usually get. The ceiling fan hums all day long, trying to keep the place cool. Sometimes the kids from the nearby houses come in for a single chocolate or a packet of biscuits. We’ve got a ledger where we write things down when the system is slow. It’s not fancy. The floor is a bit worn from all the feet walking over it for years. We stay open pretty late because there’s always someone who needs milk or sugar at the last minute. The smells inside are a mix of spices, soap, and maybe a bit of dust from the street. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. Just the name over the door and the goods on the shelves. It’s a busy, cramped, friendly little place that keeps us on our feet all day long.
