Sri Maruthi Paints & Hardware

Sri Maruthi Paints & Hardware is located on Magadi Road, specifically at 584/4 on the 2nd Cross. It’s a typical hardware shop with shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling. We have buckets of paint stacked up and tools hanging on the walls. It’s often a bit dusty because of all the cement and hardware we move around. People come in looking for specific bolts or a certain shade of blue, and we try to find it in the back. The shop has been here for a long time. It’s a local place where builders and homeowners stop by. We don’t have a fancy computer system for everything; a lot of it is still done by memory and handwritten notes. The floor is stained with a few paint spills from over the years. It’s a bit cramped inside because we try to stock as much as possible. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work. Some days are hectic with people coming in all at once, and other times it’s just us organizing the nails and screws. We open early so people can grab what they need before they start their day’s work. It’s just a regular hardware store trying to keep the neighborhood supplied with what they need for their houses. We keep the counter clear of clutter as much as we can, but it's hard when so many items arrive daily.
