Manna Hardware

Manna Hardware is situated at 876, 8th Main in the 9th Block of Jayanagar. We are right near Shekar Hospital, which makes it a very busy and recognizable spot for anyone living in this part of Bangalore. Jayanagar is a great neighborhood with a lot of trees, though our street is mostly filled with shops and people moving around. Our store is packed from floor to ceiling with all the hardware stuff you can imagine. We have bins full of nails, rows of plumbing pipes, and all kinds of tools hanging from the rafters. It can be a bit overwhelming if you aren't used to it, but we know exactly where everything is located. Since we are near the hospital, there is always a lot of foot traffic and people looking for various things. The shop has been here for years, and the wooden counters are worn smooth from all the customers leaning on them. We don't have a lot of space for people to walk around, so it’s usually a case of telling us what you need and we go grab it for you. The air in the shop smells a bit like oil and metal, which is what you would expect from a hardware place. We aren't trying to be a modern showroom. We are just a local shop where you can get a single screw or a whole set of tools. It’s a honest way to make a living and we enjoy the daily rhythm of the block. We stay open quite late most nights of the week.
