Shyli Artorium

Down here at 245, 3rd Main in Byrappa Block, we’ve got Shyli Artorium. It’s tucked away in T R Nagar. It’s mostly art supplies and decorative things that we keep here. I’ve always liked making things, so having a shop for it made sense. The space isn’t huge, but we pack a lot into the shelves. Some days it’s quiet and I just organize the brushes or the frames. Other days, a bunch of students come in looking for specific materials for their projects. We try to keep the basics in stock. You know how it is, sometimes things go out of stock and we have to wait for the next delivery. T R Nagar is a nice neighborhood to work in. There are a lot of families around here. We’ve been in this specific spot for a few years. It’s easy to find once you get onto 3rd Main. I usually have some music playing in the background while I work. It helps pass the time when no one is in. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. Just the name on the door. If you’re looking for something creative or just need a gift, you can look around. I don't follow people around the shop; I let them browse in peace. It’s just a regular local business run by people who live nearby. I often end up chatting with the regulars about their latest paintings or what’s happening in the block. It’s a simple, slow-paced life here at the shop. We just want to keep providing the materials that let people be creative.
