Sri Manjunathawara Traders

Sri Manjunathawara Traders is located out in Viswaneedam 2. It is a bit quieter out here compared to the middle of the city, which suits us just fine. We operate as a general trading business, so we deal with all sorts of goods coming in and out. The space we have is more like a warehouse than a shop. There are stacks of boxes and crates everywhere you look. We spend most of our time counting stock and checking the manifests. It is not a place with shiny floors or bright lights. We have a simple office area with a desk that’s seen better days and a couple of stools. The ceiling fan has a bit of a wobble to it, but it keeps the air moving. We don't do any social media or big advertising. Most of our customers are other local businesses who have known us for years. We open the shutters early in the morning and wait for the delivery trucks to arrive. Sometimes the rain makes the loading area a bit slippery, so we have to be careful. We know the regular drivers by name and usually have a cup of tea with them while they unload. It’s a basic way of doing business, but it works for us. We just make sure the orders are right and the inventory stays balanced. There’s no need to make it more complicated than that.
