New Tharagpet 2nd Main Road 13 is where you will find us. We go by Sri Lakshmi Venkateshwara Enterprises. This part of town is always moving. There are sacks and boxes everywhere on the street most mornings. It is quite loud because of all the loading and unloading that happens right outside our door. Our space is crowded with stuff we need for the day. We have been at this address for a long time. The floor is a bit worn out from all the boots walking over it. We don't really have a reception area or anything like that. You just walk in and someone is usually there to help. Sri Lakshmi Venkateshwara Enterprises is just a name on the board outside, which is a bit faded now. The tea guy comes by at eleven and four, which is the highlight of the day for most of us. Working in New Tharagpet means you get used to the dust and the noise. We don’t mind it much. It feels like a real place where things actually happen. Sometimes we stay late to finish up paperwork under a single tubelight. It isn't the most modern office in Bangalore, but it works for what we do. We know the other shop owners on the 2nd Main Road. We help each other out when someone needs a tool or a bit of change. That is just how it is here.
