Our business is set up at 34/1 in the Yeshwantpur area. It’s a busy location, which is good for us because there is always some construction going on nearby. We mainly deal with the basic stuff people need to build a house, like sand, bricks, and cement bags. We don't have a polished office with glass doors. It’s more of a functional yard where we keep all the heavy materials stacked up. Dealing with building materials is a rough business. Your hands get calloused and your clothes are always dirty from the grit and grime. We spend most of our time on the phone coordinating with truck drivers or talking to builders who need a load of bricks delivered by the afternoon. Yeshwantpur is a hectic place with the market and the railway station nearby, so we have to be quick with our movements. I’ve been running this place for a while, and it’s mostly about knowing where to get the supplies and making sure they get to the site on time. We don't do any fancy marketing. Most of our customers are people who have been buying from us for years or contractors who work in this side of the city. It’s just about being there every morning, opening the gates, and getting the orders loaded up. It’s a simple, straightforward way to make a living in a very busy part of town where things never really stop moving.
