Sri L. J. Iyengar Bread House

We are located at Plot No 27 on 50 Feet Cross Road in Hanumantha Nagar. Sri L. J. Iyengar Bread House has been here for a while. It's a small place, and it usually smells like flour and baking early in the morning. We don't have a big fancy storefront. It’s just where we do our work. We start pretty early, often before the sun is even up, to get things ready. It can get a bit hot inside when the ovens are going, especially in the afternoon. We don't have a lot of staff, just a few of us who know the routine. We spend most of our time in the back. The counter is usually busy with people from the neighborhood stopping by. We don't really do any big advertising. People just know where we are. Sometimes we run out of things earlier than expected, but that's just how it goes. The shelves aren't always perfectly lined up, and the floor usually has a bit of dust on it by midday. It’s a local spot where we just focus on the daily tasks. We aren't trying to be a big chain or anything. We just like being in Hanumantha Nagar and doing what we do. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We've seen kids grow up coming here, which is nice. Most of our regulars don't even have to say what they want anymore; we just know.
