Sri Krishna Beauty Spot

If you are around Ganganagar, you probably know where Kanti Sweets is. We are right near there. This shop has been part of my life for a long time. We sell all sorts of beauty stuff, hair clips, bangles, and makeup things that people need for daily use or for weddings. It is a small space, so things are stacked pretty high on the shelves. Sometimes it takes a minute to find a specific shade of lipstick, but we usually know where everything is tucked away. It is usually busy in the evenings when everyone is out shopping for groceries. We get a lot of regulars who live just down the street. It is noisy outside with the traffic, but inside we just talk and help people pick out what looks good. I started this because I liked the idea of having a local spot for these things. We do not have a big staff, just us working here most days. The lighting could be better, but it does the job. People come in for a quick bindi pack or some hair oil. It is just a regular shop where we try to keep things useful for the neighbors. Nothing fancy about it. We close up around the usual time every night. If you are passing by the sweets shop, you will see us there. We have seen the area change a lot over the years, but we stay right here in the same spot.
