Sri Home Tutions

Sri Home Tutions is run out of our place in Lingarajapuram. We are at No.774, Kariyana Palya, on the 17th Cross. This is right in St Thomas Town. If you know the area, we are quite close to Shobha Store and the Lingarajapuram flyover. You can hear the vehicles going over the flyover all day long. We basically help connect teachers with students who need extra help at home. Sometimes people come here to talk to us about what they need. Our office is just a simple room with a couple of chairs and a landline phone that rings a lot. We have folders full of teacher profiles and student requests. It’s not a high-tech operation. We mostly use notebooks and a basic computer to keep track of everything. We’ve lived and worked in this part of Bangalore for a long time, so we know the neighborhoods well. The 17th Cross is a bit narrow, and parking can be a problem if you bring a car. Most people just come on their scooters. We don't have a big sign outside, just a small one near the door. It’s a very local, family-run kind of thing. We know most of the teachers personally because they live nearby. We just try to help kids get their grades up by finding them the right person to teach them at home.
