Sri Chandan Furniture

Sri Chandan Furniture is located at 3122 Vijaya Nagar, right on the 80 Feet Road in Bommanahalli. We are in the Mangammana Palya area, very close to the local bus stand. You can usually hear the buses pulling in and out all day long. Our shop is filled with the smell of cut wood and the sound of hammers. We have been here for a good while, and the neighborhood has grown up around us. The 80 Feet Road is always busy with traffic, which brings a lot of people past our door. We keep various pieces of furniture on display near the front, though it gets a bit dusty with all the cars going by. Inside, it’s mostly a workshop where we spend our time fixing things or putting together new tables and chairs. It’s a messy place with sawdust on the floor and scraps of wood in the corners. We don’t have a fancy showroom with bright lights. It’s just a regular local shop where we work with our hands. People from the bus stand often wander in to ask about a cupboard or a bed frame. We just tell them what we can do and how long it will take. It’s a simple business. We work until the sun goes down and then close up the shutters. It’s a solid way to spend the day, working on things people actually use in their homes. That is all we do.
