About Sri Bhuvanesh Engineering Works – Engineering in Bengaluru
Down here in Rajajinagar Industrial Town, it's always noisy. Our spot is at C-17, right where the trucks usually turn around near Khuda Lahora. It’s a busy place with a lot of metal scraps piled up near the entrance. We do a lot of lathe work and welding throughout the week. The floor is usually covered in oil and metal shavings, so you have to be careful where you step when you visit. We’ve been at this for years, mostly handling small parts for machines or fixing gears that have worn down too much. It’s hot work, especially in the afternoons when the sun hits the metal roof. We don't have a big office or anything, just a small desk in the corner with a calendar that’s a few months out of date. Usually, someone is running a grinder or a drill, so you have to shout a bit to be heard. We handle a lot of walk-in jobs where someone brings a broken part from their factory. It’s just us working with our hands. Sometimes the power cuts out and we have to sit outside for a bit until it comes back. The neighborhood is full of similar shops, but we’ve stuck to our corner for a long time now. We just do the work that comes in and try to keep the machines running properly. It’s greasy and loud, but that’s just how an engineering workshop is supposed to be. There’s always more metal to cut.
