Sri Basaveshwara

We are located in Hongasandra, specifically in the J Block area near the MIDC. Most people find us by looking for the Chamundeswari Temple, which is just a short walk away from our spot. It’s a quiet enough area, though it gets busy during the temple festivals. Our business has been part of this neighborhood for a long time now. We handle a bit of everything that the local people need for their daily lives. Whether it’s supplies or just something someone forgot to pick up on their way home, they usually drop by here. The shop isn't very big, but we try to keep it organized so we know where everything is. It’s mostly just us and a few family members helping out during the peak hours in the morning and evening. We know the names of almost everyone who lives on this street. We’ve seen kids grow up and start coming in to buy things for their own houses now. It makes you feel like you’re really part of the place. We don't have any big signs or advertisements. The word of mouth from the people living in J Block is enough for us. We just open up early, sweep the front, and get ready for the day. It’s a simple routine, but it’s what we know. Sometimes we just sit outside and talk to the neighbors when things are slow. It’s a good way to live and work. We don't want to be anywhere else.
