Sri Balaji Mens Parlour

Sri Balaji Mens Parlour is tucked away on No 100, 4th Cross Road in the Lakshmipura area. It is right there on the Swimming Pool Main Road in Kempegowda Nagar, which most people around here know well. The shop is not anything fancy or big, just a local spot for men who need a regular haircut or maybe a quick shave before they head to work. We have been in this part of Bangalore for a good while now. The chairs are old but they are comfortable enough for a twenty-minute sit. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded on Saturday mornings when the local boys come in all at once, so there might be a short wait on the bench. We usually have the radio playing some songs or just the news. It is a simple place with mirrors on the walls and the smell of talcum powder in the air. People from the neighborhood stop by to chat about the local things happening or just to rest for a bit while they get a trim. The street outside can get a little noisy with the bikes passing by toward the main road, but inside it is mostly just the sound of scissors. We keep things plain and don't bother with all those modern styles that nobody really asks for here. If you are near the swimming pool road, you will see our sign. It is just a practical corner for the local men.
