Sri Balaji Entetprises

Our shop, Sri Balaji Entetprises, is on the Kathriguppe Main Road, specifically at number 6 in Ramachandrapuram. Being on the main road means there is a lot of dust and noise from the buses and cars going past all day long. I’ve been sitting in this shop for quite a while now. It’s a decent sized space, but we have so much stuff that it feels small. I keep a few chairs near the front for customers, though they usually prefer to stand and look around. The building is older, so the walls have some cracks and the ceiling fan makes a clicking sound, but it keeps us cool enough. I usually open up around ten and stay until the traffic dies down in the evening. My wife sometimes brings me tiffin in the afternoon. Most of the people who stop by are locals from the Ramachandrapuram area. They know me by name and I know their families. We don’t do any big advertising. People just see the sign when they are stuck in traffic or walking to the bus stop. It’s a simple way to run a business. I spend my time checking the inventory and talking to the people who walk in. Some days are slow and I just read the newspaper, but usually, there’s enough to keep me busy. It’s a good spot on the main road and we are happy staying right here.
