Sri Annapurneshwari Catering

At Sri Annapurneshwari Catering, we work out of 34 Adugodi on A S Char Street. It’s a narrow street and can be a bit of a pain to get a truck through, but we make it work. We have been in this spot for a good while and the neighbors are used to the smells of sambar and rice coming from our kitchen early in the morning. We don’t have a website or any of those modern things. We just have our name on the door and a phone number people call. The kitchen is where everything happens. We have these massive heavy pots that take two people to carry when they are full. It’s hot and steamy work, especially when we are preparing for a large gathering. We start our day when most people are still sleeping so we can have everything ready by lunch. Sometimes we get tired of the same routine but then we see people enjoying the food and it feels worth it. We are just regular people who know how to cook for a crowd. There’s no secret to it, just using enough ingredients and not rushing the process. We buy our vegetables from the local vendors nearby and they know what we need. It’s a simple way of doing things but it has worked for us so far. We just do our best to stay on top of the orders and keep the kitchen running.
