We are located at 1387/4 on Kamanahalli Main Road, right at the 2nd Cross. If you know where the Nilgiris Supermarket is, we are just behind it. Working with cement means everything we own is covered in a thin layer of gray dust. It gets on the desk, the chairs, and even the phone. Our day starts early, usually before the traffic on Kamanahalli Main Road gets too bad, because that is when the big trucks try to make their deliveries. We have to move quickly to get the bags stacked up in the warehouse area. It is hard physical work and you definitely feel it in your back by the end of the day. We get a lot of local contractors coming in, but also regular people who just need a couple of bags for a small repair at home. We keep a simple ledger to track what goes out and what comes in. There is no air conditioning, just a ceiling fan that tries its best to move the air around. Sometimes we stand out front to catch a breeze and watch the shoppers going into Nilgiris. We have been at this spot for some time, so we have seen the street change quite a bit. It’s a plain, straightforward business where we just focus on keeping the stock ready for whoever needs it for their construction work. We don't do much marketing, we just stay here and supply the cement bags when the builders arrive.
