Sree Prayagraj Mess

We've been over here on Mangesh Shenoy Street for a good while now. Most people around Koramangala know us as the place for a quick, filling meal that doesn't cost a whole lot of money. It’s pretty basic inside, just some sturdy tables and plastic chairs, but we make sure to keep everything as clean as we can. The food we serve is just what you’d find in a typical home kitchen, nothing fancy or over-decorated for no reason. We get a lot of students and office folks from around the neighborhood who come in almost every single day. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded during the lunch hour, so you might have to wait a couple of minutes for a seat to open up. We don’t have a big, fancy menu that changes all the time. Instead, we just stick to the dishes we know how to cook well. The kitchen staff starts work early in the morning to get everything prepped and ready. We don’t spend money on big signs or ads because most people just find us by walking past or hearing about it from a friend. It's just a small mess where you can eat and get back to your business. We see the same faces every afternoon, which is nice. If you're looking for a quiet place with soft music, this isn't really the right spot. It's usually noisy with the sound of plates and people talking. We just try to make sure there's enough food for everyone. It’s a simple operation we run here.
