About Spine & Orthopaedic Centre – Medical & Healthcare in Bengaluru
We have been sitting here at our spot on Fair Field Road for quite some time now. It’s a busy part of Bangalore, so there is always some noise from the street coming through the windows. The Spine & Orthopaedic Centre isn't a very big place, just enough room for the patients to sit while they wait their turn. We start our day around the same time every morning, usually beginning with a quick sweep of the floors and getting the files ready. Most people who walk through our door are complaining about a stiff neck or a back that won't stop hurting after a long day at work. The chairs in the waiting area are the basic plastic ones, and we have a small water cooler in the corner that sometimes makes a loud glugging sound when someone uses it. The walls are mostly bare, except for a couple of charts showing bones and muscles which help us explain things to folks who aren't sure why they feel pain. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, but the ceiling fans do a decent job of keeping the air moving. We don’t really do anything fancy here, just look at the problems people have with their joints and try to figure out a way to help them feel a bit better. Sometimes the traffic outside gets so backed up that we can hear the bus drivers honking all the way from the main intersection while we are talking to a patient inside.
