Spicy Touch

You can find us at the Moonlight Shopping Centre in Peenya, specifically at number 403 on Andheri Kurla Road. It’s a busy area and the noise from the street never really stops. We’ve been here for a couple of years now, just trying to make food that actually tastes like something. The kitchen is small, so it gets really cramped when there are three of us in there during the lunch rush. We use a lot of spices, obviously, so the air usually smells like roasted chilies and turmeric. Sometimes it makes the new delivery guys sneeze when they walk in. It’s not a fancy sit-down restaurant with white tablecloths or anything like that. We have a few tables that wobble a bit, but people don’t seem to mind too much as long as the food is hot. We do a lot of takeout orders for the people working in the nearby offices. The sink in the back has a slow leak that we’ve been meaning to fix for months, but we just haven't gotten around to it yet. It’s just a regular local spot. We don't spend money on advertising or anything. Most people just find us by walking past or hearing about it from a coworker. It’s hard work and the hours are long, but it keeps us busy. We just try to get the orders out as fast as we can without making too many mistakes or burning anything. It gets a bit chaotic, but we manage.
