We opened up Spice Curry on Tardeo Road 34/1 because we wanted a place to cook the food we like. It’s a busy area in Indira Nagar, and we fit right in with the noise and the traffic outside. Inside the shop, it’s mostly just tables and the sound of the pans clanking in the back. The cooks have been with us for a long time. They don't talk much, they just focus on the stoves and the orders. We get a lot of people stopping by for a quick lunch during their break. It gets crowded around noon, so you might have to wait for a chair to open up. We try to keep the menu short so we can get the food out faster to everyone. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to doing it yet. We use whatever spices we can get fresh from the market nearby. Some days the curry is a bit spicier than others, depending on the peppers we find that morning. That's just how it goes when you cook like this. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that. If you want to eat, you just show up at the door. Most days we are there until the last pot is empty. It's hard work, but it keeps us busy and moving.
