You can find Silicon Valley Academy Of Excellence on the 2nd Floor of a building along the 100 Feet Ring Road in Banashankari 3rd Stage. We are right at 3rd Main, number 195. It’s a big, busy road, so there is always a lot of noise from the buses and cars passing by outside. Inside the place, it’s a bit different. We have several rooms set up for teaching and practice. We aren't a massive institution with hundreds of staff or anything like that. It’s a smaller group of us who actually spend time on the subjects we are teaching. The stairs up to the second floor can be a bit steep, but everyone gets used to them after a few days. We spend our days preparing materials and sitting with students who are trying to learn new skills. The furniture is functional and the whiteboards are usually covered in notes and scribbles by the end of the day. We don't have any of those fancy coffee machines or lounges you see in the big tech companies in the city. We just have desks, chairs, and the equipment needed to get the learning done. During the breaks, students usually head downstairs to the local shops for a snack or a drink. It’s a lively atmosphere because of all the people coming through. We’ve been in this building for a while now and we like being part of the Banashankari community.
