Shysmi Beauty Saloon

This is Shysmi Beauty Saloon and you can find us at No. 90 on 1st Main in Narashima Layout. We’re tucked away in Nandini Layout, not too far from the Kanteerava Studio. Our salon is a busy little place with a few chairs and big mirrors. There is usually a hum of hairdryers and people chatting about their day. We do hair cutting, styling, and all the usual beauty stuff. It gets really crowded on weekends when everyone wants to look their best for a wedding or a local party. We try to keep the floor swept, but hair gets everywhere pretty fast once we start working. The staff has been here for years, so we know most of the ladies who come in by name. We hear all the local news while we work on someone’s hair. It’s a friendly atmosphere, even when there’s a long wait for a chair. The shop isn't fancy, but it’s comfortable and the lights are bright so we can see what we’re doing. Sometimes we have tea together when there’s a small break between customers. Being near the studio means we see all kinds of people coming through the area. We just focus on making sure people walk out feeling a bit better than when they walked in. It’s simple work but we take it seriously. Bangalore is always moving fast, but inside here, things feel a bit more relaxed and slow.
