Shubha Insurance Advisor

My office is located at 1st Floor, Century Building on Mahathma Gandhi Road, right across from the Tandoor Hotel. My name is Shubha, and I’ve been working as an insurance advisor here for quite some time. MG Road is always humming with people and cars, so it’s a lively place to be every day. I chose this spot because it’s easy for my clients to find, even if parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes. I spend most of my day sitting at my desk, going through policy papers and talking to people on the phone. It’s not the most exciting work to some, but I find it important to help folks get their papers in order. My office isn't very large, just enough space for me and a couple of chairs for visitors. I don't have a big corporate team behind me; I handle the details myself so I know everything is done correctly. People usually call me up first and then come by to sign things or drop off documents. I’ve seen many businesses in the Century Building come and go, but I’ve stayed put. It’s a nice old building with a lot of character. I don't believe in using hard-sell tactics or anything like that. I just explain the different plans and let people decide what they need. It’s a very quiet and steady way to work in a busy part of town. I keep a small jar of sweets on the corner of my desk for when people bring their kids along.
