Shriram Caterer

Shriram Caterer operates out of Kathriguppe in Bangalore. We are located on the 2nd Main, 50 Feet Road in the Munishwara area. This isn't a walk-in restaurant with tables. Instead, it’s more of a big kitchen where we spend most of our time over large stoves. We started doing this because we enjoyed cooking for big family gatherings. Now, we handle various local events around this part of Bangalore. Most mornings start around four or five o'clock when the first shipments of vegetables and rice arrive. The kitchen gets very hot and it’s always loud with the sound of chopping and heavy pots moving around. We don't have a fancy office or a receptionist. Usually, if someone wants to hire us, they just call my mobile or stop by the house. We don't use any fancy brochures. We just talk to people and figure out what they need for their function. Sometimes things get stressful when there are two events on the same day and we are running low on staff. We’ve had our share of burnt pots and late deliveries over the years. It’s a tough business and your back usually aches by the evening. We just focus on getting the food done and delivered to the venue on time. It’s a local operation, nothing more, nothing less. We just keep our heads down and cook.
