Shri Shasta Food Products is based in Vijaya Nagar at M C Layout. We are located at number 919 on the 6th main, right near the 2nd cross. Our daily life involves a lot of cooking and food preparation. It is a small-scale operation where we make various food items for the local market. The kitchen is always busy and it gets quite warm in there during the afternoons. We handle everything ourselves, from choosing the ingredients to the final packaging. It is mostly manual work. We don't have those big automated lines you see in factories. We prefer doing things this way because we can keep an eye on everything. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a batch if there was a delay with the raw materials. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so we have to be careful not to make too much noise or mess. Most of our customers are local shopkeepers who buy our products to sell in their stores. We don't have a sales team or any brochures. We just rely on the fact that people know our work. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living. We’ve been at this spot for years and we know the rhythms of the layout. Every day is about getting the batches done and making sure the storage area is clean and organized. It is just a regular food unit.
