We are located down on the ground floor of the Shree Bharathi building, which is part of the VHBC Society Layout. Magadi Main Road is always busy, and being near the traffic police station means there is always a lot of activity right outside our door. Sometimes the sirens are going off or the traffic is backed up for blocks, but inside the shop, we just keep our heads down and do the work. The layout of Basaveshwaranagar can be a bit confusing if you aren't from around here, but we’ve been at this 1st Stage spot long enough that the regulars know exactly where to find us. It’s not a very big space, and we’ve had to get creative with how we stack things to make sure everything fits. We deal with a lot of different items, and the paperwork can get a bit messy on the desk when things get busy in the afternoon. Usually, the morning is for sorting through what came in the day before and making sure the orders are ready. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know how things run. There’s a tea stall not far away where we usually grab a drink when there's a break in the day. It’s a practical place, built on just showing up every morning and getting through the list of things that need to be done for the local people. We don't have much to say about ourselves, we just work.
