Short Cuts

Our shop is right on Mosque Road in Frazer Town. It’s at number 48, right opposite the Masjid. If you know this area, you know how loud and lively it gets, especially in the evenings. The sound of the call to prayer is something we hear every day, and it’s just part of the rhythm of the shop. We get a lot of foot traffic here. People are always walking to the mosque or heading to the nearby food stalls. Inside, we keep things pretty basic. A few chairs, some combs, and the clippers. It’s a small place, so it fills up quickly. We don’t really do appointments much; people just drop in when they have time. The 560005 area is a mix of everything, and our customers reflect that. We have young guys wanting something new and older men who have been coming for years and want the exact same cut every time. We don’t use any marketing tricks. Our sign is out front and that’s about it. The street is always buzzing with bikes and the smell of kebabs from the places nearby. Sometimes it’s a bit chaotic outside, but once you’re inside, it’s just about getting the work done. We like being part of Frazer Town. It’s got a character you don’t find in the newer parts of the city. We’re just here doing our bit.
